Bring your existing AI into novel translation

If you already use ChatGPT or have an AI provider API key, 2novel brings that provider into a chapter-based workflow: import the source, translate, compare and save your edits. Keep your familiar AI tool while managing the whole book in one workspace instead of collecting results from separate conversations.

Which cost does “0 cost” refer to?

The goal here is no per-character translation charge at 2novel when your own-provider access and rate support it. Check the current own-provider rate on Pricing and your account information before running a task. A 2novel plan subscription, a ChatGPT subscription and provider API charges are separate parts of your budget.

Connect the provider that fits your setup

A ChatGPT session connects through the relay extension in desktop Chrome; API keys are added through Connect AI. ChatGPT needs the browser running and the session signed in. An API provider may bill usage on its own account. Choose according to your working conditions and the output you need, then check that provider’s separate charges.

Try one chapter before running a batch

A small trial lets you check the provider actually used, names and narrative voice before continuing.

  1. Check Pricing and Plans & billing for current own-provider access and charges.
  2. Connect your provider in Settings. For ChatGPT, install and pair the extension using the guide under Read next.
  3. Open Model settings, choose providers for Translation and Analysis as needed, then save.
  4. Create a book, add a chapter you have permission to use and review the provider and cost information before confirming translation.
  5. Compare the result with the source, edit and save. Check Usage history before selecting more chapters.

Keep the value of work already done

With the translation alongside the source, you can edit a sentence or name without rerunning the entire chapter. The Book Bible helps you inspect and approve names, terminology and context. Export or share a reading link once the draft is reviewed. Editing still takes time even when a translation run has no platform charge.

Connect your provider to begin

Open Settings to connect the AI provider you already have. Connect and choose AI providers under Read next explains the options; the cost checklist in this group helps you confirm budget conditions first.
