A place to continue each chapter

Translating a long novel involves more than generating a few paragraphs. You need to know which chapters are translated, what failed and which edits were saved. 2novel keeps the source, translation and status together for each chapter, so you can return to unfinished work when you next open the book.

Start small to find your workflow

A first chapter lets you check the target language, AI provider and treatment of names before queuing more content. Use the system provider when available, or connect your own provider if your workspace has that capability.

  1. Create a book and choose its source and target languages.
  2. Paste the source or import a suitable TXT, Word or PDF file.
  3. Translate one chapter, then check narrative voice, character names and forms of address before selecting more chapters.

Carry editorial decisions across chapters

A character may appear under several names, and a term may need the same translation throughout a story. The Book Bible gives you a place to review characters, terminology and context. Check proposals and save decisions you want to reuse rather than treating every AI suggestion as an established fact.

Edit alongside the source

The editor places the source and translation side by side on wide screens, with a pane switch on narrow screens. Compare omitted sentences, wording and details that need to survive translation. Select chapters from the list, follow their status and return to passages that need editing.

Deliver the version you have checked

Once reviewed, export EPUB, Word or plain text for your next step, or enable a bilingual reading link. An exported file captures the version at download time; a reading link allows reading without granting editing access.

Try a chapter you want to translate

Choose a chapter you have permission to use and open 2novel to create a book. For detailed steps, follow Translate your first chapter under Read next. Current provider capabilities and prices are shown for your account in the app and on Pricing.
