Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the estimate?
It is derived from the reading speed you choose, defaulting to 150 words per minute for Latin script and 300 characters per minute for CJK. Real duration depends on the voice, pauses and how dialogue is handled.
Is the text I paste stored?
No. Counting runs in your browser and the text is never sent anywhere.
Why are there no prices for other services?
Prices change by plan and over time, so the tool multiplies duration by the rate you enter instead of hard-coding a third party's pricing.
