Split EPUB and TXT files into chapters

Prepare a long novel for translation or audio: one .txt per chapter, numbered in reading order. All processing runs on your device.

.epub or .txt, up to 50 MB

Everything runs on your device; your content never leaves the browser.

How to use it

  1. Choose an .epub or .txt file (up to 50 MB).
  2. For EPUB, chapters are read in the book's own order. For TXT, the file is split at heading lines such as “第一章”, “Chương 3”, “Chapter 4” or “제1화”.
  3. Review the chapters that were found.
  4. Download a ZIP with one .txt per chapter.

Frequently asked questions

What about DRM-protected EPUBs?

The tool does not remove DRM. Encrypted files are rejected with a clear message.

My TXT has no chapter heading lines.

The tool needs recognisable heading lines; if it finds none it reports that instead of cutting at random.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The file is read and zipped in your browser.
